Hey everybody, I'd thought I would introduce myself:
I live in NH. I go to school in Massachusetts though. I'm an undergrad at WPI, currently a physics major. I am however considering switching majors though, as physics seems to be a dead end for the time being, and not as enjoyable as I originally thought. Currently, I'm thinking of becoming a chem major or a math major. Anyways, that's my educational background. I'm off on summer vacation now, after my first year. I had a somewhat rough first year, but I held my own, GPA is 3.0 for the time being. Next year I'm going to be a sophomore, and of course put in a lot more time into school (something which I should have done right from the beginning, but oh well...).
Anyways, my interests include playing chess (competitively), playing video games (also competitive in that area too), and of course science and math. I also like to read and watch science fiction.
I am what some people would call an uber nerd, but that does not bother me one bit. Increasingly though, I have been regarded as an intellectual "elitist" after spending some time in college. Doesn't bother me, I actually rather like it, especially since I feel like I now have a better understanding of reality (even though, admittedly, I know next to nothing about it in general...), more so than some other people at least.
Well, that's all there is to know about me. Hope to have fun on your forums!
