Hah. being a good friend to a large portion of women, I can say where you might be failing. First and foremost, they all have a thing for good abs. Lose some weight and start doing exercise.

Secondly, your face looks to me like the kind that might benefit from facial hair. try a mustache/beard. I've done the same in the past, but facial hair is definitely not for me. Heh.

Good abs is a preference but not the ultimate thing they want. Most like a man who's funny, smart, honest. There are a whole variety of preferences and all women are different. Looks and abs are definatley lower down on those preferences.

If you're good in bed too that helps

I look a lot like this guy if we're showing pictures of ourselves, if only I had the money to have the style of George too.

It's a Fender Squire Stratocaster...bottom of the line (electric). When I get some more money I'd like to get a better one.

Squire's aren't so bad. If you're playing through a tube amp (but then, valvestate makes just about anything sound good).

I'd give my left nut for a tube amp. I'm actually ampless right now. ( my ex-roomate stole my marshall practice amp). I have a mixer that has microphone inputs, and just play through it...it sucks...but it's better than nothing.

It was a good first guitar...reminds me of a story. Apparently there are two different kinds of flutes, sliver-plated and solid silver...a father asked his daughter's flute teacher when he should spend the extra money to get his daughter a solid silver flute...the teacher responded "when she's good enough to tell the difference"

When I bought the squire, I wasn't good enough to tell the difference...I am now (not that I'm that good). I'd like to get one of those new Les Paul's that have the auto-tuner.

I used to play on a Starfire. One of those really bad Malaysian Strat clones. Eventually decided to upgrade the amp instead of the guitar and it didn't sound too bad.

Although the guitar did have a decent tone. I've heard much worse, and I've heard tube amps bring out the tone: good guitars sound better, bad guitars sound worse. Never tried a really bad sounding guitar through one; don't know if I'd care to.

I tried a Squire Telecaster through it, and it sounded really good. Through a chorus, delay and distortion (Robin Guthrie from Cocteau Twins' early period pedal setup).

Sold my guitar equipment eventually. Now I just compose electronically. PC equipped with Reaktor, FL Studio and a hard drive filled with FX plug-ins and samples.

Being a woman, I can say that endlessly wailing about the lack of sex in your life on a science forum is, all by itself, a complete turn off.
Man can will nothing unless he has first understood that he must count on no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth.

What are you talking about? This guy was probably joking anyway, who knows. The point is what I mentioned is true. Regardless as to some on this forum may disagree. You agree?

Where sam is concerned, that is an improvement on his previous proclivities. He is actually likeable now, a feat in itself.

I was referring to my personal experience. Nothing more. Your optimistic view probably means you don't have a girlfriend. Especially your ridiculous remark at the bottom.

WHAT?! What are we talking about? What does it matter if I have a girlfriend or not? It does matter that your good in bed. A relationship won't be truly dreamy if that desire is not satisfied, but hey I'm the dreamy guy girls look for. (Thats confidence btw, not arrogance 8)).

Your turned off Jeremy? I hope you are
