Thread: Greetings and Salutations

My purpose for registering here is to find others who like to engage in general intellectual discussions. While I do not consider myself an "intellectual," I am fascinated with intellectuals and love a well structured position.

I am a software architect by trade, have published a few computer articles in Linux magazines, enjoy tackling math problems (although I'm not going to claim to be a whiz at it, as I suspect most others here are better), and am a voracious reader of history. Computer science is my obsession.

I am the perennial student and hope to further my studies here.
