Hi, My name is Steve (handle: Sam7USA). I'm married to a wonderful woman (Jan) and we enjoy being grandparents to five great kids. I've been with AT&T (Southwestern Bell) for nearly 19 years, and Jan runs a private (daycare home) in our lower level. We love going to movies. We watch a broad spectrum of programming and genres. My draw to the Forum stemmed from a Google search for a topic that is very much on the fringe of 'science', and in fact, could be called pseudo-science due to an overwhelming absence of supporting theory, or experimental evidence. The thread I found here was quite entertaining in the variety of comments I read. So much so, that I immediately started seeking the registration "button". I am open minded and believe "imagination" is at least as important as knowledge, if not more so (to partially quote Albert Einstein). However, the value of well founded and experimental research supported by definite results is vital to actual advancement and the ultimate evolution of scientific knowledge and the technologies that grow out of advancement. I detected a strong core of educated members (in reading the comments I found here), and also noticed that there are some that would challenge accepted "norms" even at the expense of drawing criticism. BRAVO!!! Looks like FUN to me! I have loved science and technology since before I was 10 years old, and have been following these topics for 54+ years (using 10 as my benchmark). I'm excited to be here!

    Thank you, for having me!

    Steve

This might shed some light on that quote: Just to clear things up...
