Ni hao. I am an American expat living in the northwestern part of The People's Republic of China. However you imagine it to be I assure you that you are mistake. I am mostly interested in anthropology, history, biology, geology and cosmology as well as philosophy and religion. My username is 'Gansu person', for those of you who can't read Chinese. I certainly can't, I had to copy and paste it from Bing translator since we don't get Google here. Good to meet you all. Loks like good times to be had by all.

    Gansu.
    Oh My!
Unique rock formations in China look as if they have been drawn with the sweeping hand of an impressionist artist | Daily Mail Online

Does it all look like that or just the parts they take pictures of?

Just the parts they take those pictures of. Some of it looks a bit like Arizona. And from my city street corner on most days you can see a wall of mountains that make the Rockies look like sand piles. I haven't been up there yet. I'm a little scared. These mountains are so high they're snow-capped even late in August - which is to say, all year round.
And what does the Lord require of you but to love justice, to be merciful and to walk humbly with Him?

Hi Gansu Person. I like your signature for it must apply to believers and nonbelievers alike. What philosophy do you follow? "And what does the Lord require of you but to love justice, to be merciful and to walk humbly with Him?"

Yes, that's rather the point- that it applies to believers and nonbelievers alike. I now there are plenty of the latter here. I'd rather not say which philosophy I follow. it's not really important to my 'identity' here on the forum. I will say this though - before breakfast I follow no philosophy.
