    Hi!!

I am a spanish physicist that performs his doctorate in plasma physics. I like know a lot of things of science, specially new trends and interesting subjects, and I am a great fan of sci-fi movies and books.

I like also to perform amateur experiments, and I have a youtube channel where you can see my latest experiments. If you want to see it only type "David Casas" in youtube search and you can see it. When I can, I'll try to upload interesting photos of my experiments.

My thesis topic is about interacctions of proton beams with plasmas, and I made a sketch of this process in an animation that you can see also in my channel.

    Greetings!!

Hi. Are you interested in nuclear fusion?

Yes, the aim of my study is to use these proton beams in inertial confinement fusion.

You may be interested in Lawrence Livermore Labs and in ITER. I do believe that nuclear fusion will be huge on Earth one day. Hot fusion that is.

I am interested in nuclear fusion but more in inertial fusion than in magnetic fusion

There are interests here in the US in this too - and in other nations as well. I ran across a new project by the US department of energy but can't find it right now...meanwhile I found these...

I made an animation to put it in presentations that shows how interact a proton beam with a plasma:

I'll check out some of the youtube stuff sometime. Does this system have a way of creating and using Tritium after the fusion has started? Tritium, I think is fairly scarce.

I am not working in this area, but I readed sometime that, when lithium is used as refrigerant, it is possible to obtain tritium from the neutrons of nuclear reaction.
