I've heard from friends about this site. Thought I'd see for myself. Thanks for the opportunity.

    Join and share the knowledge..
Growing up, i marveled at star-trek's science, and ignored the perfect society. Now, i try to ignore their science, and marvel at the society.

Imagine, being able to create matter out of thin air, and not coming up with using drones for boarding hostile ships. Or using drones to defend your own ship. Heck, using drones to block energy attacks, counterattack or for surveillance. Unless, of course, they are nano-machines in your blood, which is a billion times more complex..

I'm always embarrassed FOR people who try the sock puppet thing.

Agreed it was very strange although I noticed that he 'liked' everything whether you agreed with him or not and his posts seemed a little off kilter at times..... With his other sock puppets though you could tell it was him - he must have changed tack for this one...

Yes, but even if we welcome them, most of them do not stay for a long time anyway.

Impolite to talk about someone who has left the room. But not if that person has been thrown-out. Yeah, sure; sometimes being ejected is a sort of compliment. If you don't get this you're far too timid, too compliant.
Without the courage of some, all would be slaves, or slave-holders. Civility has it's purpose; so has insurrection. A little rebellion, now and again, is vital to progress.
