Did you look at the Wikipedia page?
It depends on where they are because they are an invasive species in a lot of areas while in other areas they take some effort to grow.
On the west coast of Canada Himalyan Blackberry is invasive and can choke out local berry canes and other plants. It is possible for it to form dense thickets of thorny cane that you can not move through and which no other plants can survive in.
But they do taste yummy.
Olivia, I suspect this is homework. As Harold has implied we really don't want to be doing people's homework for them. That would be bad for them. However, if you are unclear about anything you read on the wikipedia article, or elsewhere, then please do ask about that.
