Ta Da! Introducing cincirob. Sometimes I'll just sign myself as cinci because I'm lazy.

Somebody told me once that laziness is a characteristic of a good engineer. If so, I'm a very good engineer.

Or, at least, I was. Retired in 1999, sort of. Contracted on and off until September, 2012.

Aircraft engine design and manager at various levels for 31 of my 35 years at the company. Before that I did some nuclear reactor design. [No, I didn't do Three Mile Island. :-) ]

Got interested in theoretical physics a long time ago but really got interested in 1992 when I read Irwin Schroedinger's biography "Life and Thought". I recommend it.

Never did the QM math, but I've read a lot of the popular literature on QM and relativity.

Hobbies: Guitar, piano, tennis, golf, taking on anti-relativists. Yes, I take on anti-relativists so bring it on.

    Welcome to the Science Forum!

I hope you will enjoy your stay on this forum and be certain to engage in scientific discussions.
We are often plagued by ToR-deniers, thus your knowledge is more than welcome.

"The only safe rule is to dispute only with those of your acquaintance of whom you know that they possess sufficient intelligence and self-respect not to advance absurdities; to appeal to reason and not to authority, and to listen to reason and yield to it; and, finally, to be willing to accept reason even from an opponent, and to be just enough to bear being proved to be in the wrong."

Thanks for the Bungles support. We need all we can get. It all depends on which Bungles show up. I think they are a quantum mechanical team; that is, how they do seems to be random and unpredictable until viewed. The Copenhagen interpretation applies.
