Hey guys, great to find a nice, active community. I'm currently a student of psychology in my 2nd year, working my butt off to transfer into neuroscience. I find any and all areas of science, engineering, philosophy and mathematics of interest.
I'm unfortunately in the situation where my knowledge of mathematics restricts my understanding, especially of physics. Feel free to let me know about anything you found interesting, any books that you might recommend to increase understanding in pretty well any area.
I hope I can contribute something to this forum, and it's good to be here

Theatre arts? That's awesome what sort of performances do you generally do? I guess I should reclassify myself as 'Interested in everything' which can cause problems... in time constraints.

Here is my story. I majored biotech in college. I went to a marketing dept. with a reagent company. Then my supervisor showed me how he use java to make routine work more automatic. So I started to learn coding. Now I'm mainly working on web-construction with Java and PHP. If you are interested, I recommend you the book Head First Java. It's a good one for beginners.
Hi, I am fond of doing researches on herbal extracts and related drugs. I also like computer and coding in Java and PHP. I am happy to discuss with you on these topics.

Biotech is awesome and yeh, I've definitely been meaning to learn some coding, a couple of people have recommended Java as a first off. Thanks for the recommendation, will definitely grab a copy.

I prefer musical theatre and comedic theatre.....both are much more difficult then drama. Comedic because I love hearing the laughter...music, because I started singing professionally at 13, and I still also do just vocal engagement. Music and theatre has always been my passion.

Ummmm hard to say. Either molecular neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, or cellular neuroscience. I definitely want to be in research.

Mmmm, I'm mainly interested in researching memory and learning, as well as looking at biological-synthetic interfaces, such as bionics.

Claude Debussy - Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun - YouTube

    One of my fave's.

A good old friend (was BF) now plays guitar, lute, mandolin, for the SFO Symphony and the Ballet, among other things, .....he keeps me up on some of the classics as we have been friends since my freshman year in high school....I could sing, he could play! *laughing*
