I am a molecular biology/psychology undergraduate student with aspirations to the neuroscience graduate program at OHSU. I'm essentially looking for science-minded discussion and new ideas! I look forward to getting to know people here.

LOL I just realized I introduced myself twice... oops! The forum kept telling me to post an introduction, and I was all "oops I thought I already did, must have borked it somehow".

    Sorry about that!

No no no, I'm a scientologist, not a scientist.

Well, as long as it's still OK to go around being all sciency and stuff, it's all good.

    Welcome to the Science Forum!
I am confident that you will enjoy the discussions in the Behaviour and Psychology section.
"The only safe rule is to dispute only with those of your acquaintance of whom you know that they possess sufficient intelligence and self-respect not to advance absurdities; to appeal to reason and not to authority, and to listen to reason and yield to it; and, finally, to be willing to accept reason even from an opponent, and to be just enough to bear being proved to be in the wrong."

~ Arthur Schopenhauer, The Art of Being Right: 38 Ways to Win an Argument (1831), Stratagem XXXVIII.

I have never encountered a student who combined molecular biology with psychology.
Is it correct to suppose that there are links between those academic fields?
Of course, all molecular biology students are crazy.

Thank you for the welcomes! Scientists or not. Babe, one of my favorite people is a theater actor, you're in good company!

The link between molecular biology and psychology is neuroscience... I will be applying for a neuroscience graduate program in a couple of years. In the meantime I'm just enjoying the learning process!
