Hi there,I thought I had better introduce myself,Im a retiered prospector a few weeks short of 60y/o with no formal qualifications except for a degree in music theory.I tinker with electronics, mainly repairing 1970s vintage stereo amplifiers,Im also interested in science, Quantum mechanics, particle physics, nanotechnology,ect...ect...Ive been learning all that I can on these subjects since I can remember and now that the internet is here Im in science heaven, metaphoricly speaking. I dont believe in religion, or that there is a god,I find the whole idea laughable. Oh! I nearly forgot, I live in Geraldton Western Australia.

Welcome to the forum. A degree in music theory suggests you may be comfortable with maths. I see Geraldton is a couple of hundred miles north of Perth, which is the only place in Australia I have visited.

Every time you post that statement, I find myself wondering "How many theatres do you need to sleep with to be a theatre whore?"

    Welcome to the forum!

I think we have enough Aussies (is that a politically correct term or is that impolite vernacular? I have no idea how long I referred to Asian people as "Oriental" before I found out they considered that an insult) that there should be an Australian culture thread, teach us the slang and how to know what size drink you will get when you order a pint at a local pub.
Speaking badly about people after they are gone and jumping on the bash the band wagon must do very well for a low self-esteem.
