Hello friends! pls I need you guys to assist me with a good and researchable project topic in criminology. I will be very happy if such topic will enable me to use chi square or correlation statistic in terms of data analysis.

I did a gun laws vs. crime rate study for a statistical analysis class a while back.

Agree with Flick. Some time ago I also did a somewhat similar topic on the correlation between accessibility of high-capacity magazines and the rate of fatal shootings. Just be sure not to choose to research an obscure topic, I've went that route with social sciences once and spent exponentially more time doing research than organizing my project.

I'll be interested to see your hypothesis

Many areas in Forensic Science involve the accuracy of a witness. When a motor vehicle "races" away from the accident scene, the witness does not usually correctly remember the number plate details. Under a set of standard conditions, a group of volunteers could be given various amounts of time to remember a number plate.

Several correlations could be developed from the data.

If you need more help, just ask.
