Hello everyone, my name is Kanon and it is a pleasure to be here among you all! I am an aspiring fiction writer and a lot of my writings will be based in science fiction so i figured what better place to get answers to my many questions on how the universe works than a science forum?

Starship battles are extremely impractical and unrealistic since the heat signature of any ship would stand out in stark contrast to the cold background of space. It's been a thorn in the side of sci fi writers since Roddenberry set pen to paper.

Yes, pizza does go well with beer as long as it's quality beer and not crap like Bud Light.

try to write fiction which is compatible with known level of science.
dont blow things out of proportion to make audience happy.
remain on this forum and you will find a lot of crazy stuff to write.
