I would like to say hello to anyone that comes to read this, my name is Intox1cated and I'm pretty new to science out of the classroom. I'm currently underachieving what i should be even on the easiest papers and I'm looking to study more into the depths of science as it has a lot it can offer me and has the ability to open many opportunities in my life, if i decide on taking them kind of paths.

I am a Year 11 student from England, Currently studying for my exams in Science Core [Foundation] In school I never really picked up anything and was too busy distracting and being distracted and now I've come and had to pay my price, even in foundation I'm a Grade D and should be achieving a Grade C, Just so i can get into Collage. The Result of this is that I'm now forced to retake all my exams and ISA's and then attempt to get them all to a C.

I'm Interested in Taking Higher Science then looking into what kind of science I am wanting to get myself into, I've been told great things about Computer science and I'm rather intrigued into how to learn about it as it's not a course that my school teaches. I hope to come on here and get posting and making some threads to help boost my understanding of science.

If you're wanting any other details here we go:

Name: Joshua, Age: 15, Location: United Kingdom.

Hopefully I'll become active and be accepted into the community you all have here,

    Thanks.

    Intox1cated.

    Welcome!

I'll suggest that, before anything else, you make sure you have the basic school stuff down before attempting higher stuff. There are many here who will help you out. You can ask for help with homework as well, though you would have to show us first where you have been getting stuck. We won't simply do your homework for you.

Your fundamentals are very important, because a strong foundation is needed if you are to properly understand the higher stuff.

    Good luck.

    Thank you, KALSTER.

I understand this is the case, and I'm currently as we speak looking for online resources and such to help me understand the basic school stuff, along with my schools so called "Extensive" Science resource section. I don't ask anyone to do my work for me and never intend to. If I'm stuck I'll be sure to ask. Hopefully it won't be long until I have revised and have a great understanding of the basics and then can build on them m,ore with the forum's great threads.
