My name is Aaron and I'm an ecologist. I've been interested in science for as long as I can remember and I still can't believe I've waited so long to join a forum dedicated to the fields. I'm on a few other forums for automotive enthusiasts (350Z models specifically) and outdoor hobbies like snowboarding, but I've decided there isn't enough science-specific conversation there so I thought I'd pop on over to this forum and check things out.

With the recent news coming out about the Higgs Boson research and the 2012 fusion super laser burn, I need a place to chat about this stuff and I don't know enough people as interested as me.

I look forward to chatting with all of you and hopefully learning a great deal.

Hi there Aaron, nice to see you're already getting into the spirit of things.

Thanks, guys! Looks like a fun and informational forum. I've also noticed a lot of younger members (in their teens). Very exciting to see kids interested in the sciences.
