Hi. my name is Benjamin Veras and I'm glad to be here. I originally came across this forum looking for an answer to a question but ran into a dead end. I was sitting at my computer while my brother is watching Star Trek: Voyager in the next room and I had a thought. We have this general idea that the creation of the universe started with the "Big Bang". How can nothing exist around the origination of the universe and outside the continual expansion of the universe? How can something exist in nothing?
