Hello there fellow forumites. My name is...well for now you can call me CrimsonViper. Im here because (stating the obvious) I like science and I like forums which led me to here. Im 17 living in England studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Sixth Form college.
I am well versed in forum etiquette so I do not need to be spoon fed the rules. However, I have never been on a forum this big before with respect to the amount of sections, topics and probably number of members so forgive me if I don't take the time to scrutinise every post. I'll probably skim read the ones that don't interest me much.
Finally, any trolls/spammers/flamers I should be warned of?
Enough about me, I hope to have a good time here and will pass over to you guys

Welcome to the forum. My name is Stephen.

What interests do you have then CrimsonViper? Nice name by the way, what made you think of it?

    Interests you ask?
[epiclist=interests] Science, Skiing/Snowboarding, Reading, Gaming, Music (of all types), Drumming, Debates/Discussions, Politics, Cars, Football (of the English variety), Rugby and generic Sci-Fi books that usually have the suffix tron in their title. I have recently developed a taste for Computer Programming though the only language I have learnt is HTML...which isn't technically programming but I am in the process of learning Visual Basic.[/epiclist] My main interest in science is Physics though I'll be doing Biology at University in September because I didn't take maths past High School
I picked my screen name out of the blue one day just because it sounded good. I then found out, much to my disgust, that it was already a character on a Street Fighter game. I got flamed endlessly for not being original so I also go by the name of NintendoFreak1992.

Wow they are some cool interests! I'm interested in your snowboarding. What do you like about it?

What games do you play? Modern Warfare 2?

Nintendo Freak huh, you like Nintendo games? I bet you have a Wii don't you?

In my view, there are two types of gamer. A westernised gamer that can only play generic FPS games; A Japanese style gamer interested in RPG games. I fall into the latter therefore it makes sense to have a Wii. I also have a 360 though and yes I do play COD. I play COD 4 though because the online is really annoying on six. Might as well get all the console hatred out of the way nice and early.
I like anything with an adrenaline rush. Snowboarding is the easiest way for me to get it as there is an indoor ski slope about 10 minutes drive away from where I live. Im looking to do Sky Diving in the summer as well.

Im not entirely sure what your equivalent of sixth form would be. Im 17 (well very nearly 18) if that helps and I haven't been kept behind or advanced any years of education.
I've been planning skydiving since January I think. My friend did it and said it was one of the best things he ever did.
Oh and can I just enquire as to what policy is regarding avatars and picture signatures. I haven't seen any picsigs so I guess those are out but is there a pixel limit on avatars. I couldn't find anything about it on the rules.
