Hey everybody. I've been browsing through the topics and this site seems great, so I thought I'd register.

I'm Chris, I'm 19 and I started University in September reading an MSc in Mathematics, but have suspended my studies until next year where I'm returning to do an MSc in Physics.

I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A Level, so figured Maths would be the way to go for my degree, but really didn't like the first semester at all, hence the switch. Hoping I'll like my Physics course a lot better!

I see a lot of people in the introductory forum talking about Xbox Live, so thought I'd give you my gamertag here too: ChristosOwen.

Anyway, feel free to let me know if I made the best/worst decision through switching course, and hopefully I'll be able to contribute to this site!

Ouch 5 years? Congrats on achieving it though. You spend 3 years here as an undergrad, then anything beyond is postgrad.

I have a friend who lives in Canada, and I find the system confusing to say the least. School --> University --> College? Something like that, but I could be totally wrong.

Anyway it's so expensive, I've worked up ~ 5,000 debt now due to the fact that I wanted to switch course, it's so depressing.

What did you study for your degree?

Oh and we English aren't all that bad =]

lol m8 it's highschool then uni/college. In england it's progressive highschool->college-->uni. In canada you do college or uni.
