on the BBC website : Are UK's imams modern enough?

turns out that whilst half of UK muslims were born here, only 1/10 of imams are - hence an inability to understand the current young muslim men because they use a frame of reference from the indian subcontinent which doesn't translate very well in secular britain

no wonder so many young muslims are lost to extremists, when their supposed elders are not on the same wavelength
