well, i was thinking if i aligned magnets in a certain arrangement that it would be possible to maybe accelerate "electrons" into a beam of some sort, or use the field to "funnel" electricity without a conductor through the air.
But i dont know i cant find anything good about magnets on google, its all mag lev stuff.
And my original idea was to use magnets to interfere with light, perhaps sending electricity through an electro magnetic "array" at the same frequency as the color of light i would want to affect.(i dont know how, maybe through running currents in different configurations , winding the wire to the left or to the right, and having magnets at 90 degree angles to each other or other electric fields, and maybe in spherical configurations)
I know light cant be affected because its an oscillation, thats why i was thinking a magnetic field oscillating at the same frequency would be sort of like, if a boat was a photon, and magnetic fields were "the ocean", well a photon normally "rides" the waves but if i oscillated it, it would be like the ocean suddenly started sending nonstop waves (which would lead to a boat in a bad situation)
But its all random thoughts i havent tried yet. id rather ask then waste hours building a magnetic array that cancels itself out and does nothing  |

only an oscilating magnetic field can induce electron flow, so it wouldnt matter how you position stationary perminent magnets. Air is too dense you will need an environment that is almost entirely a vacuum to fire electrons as you suggest. Light has no charge and therefore is unaffected by charged particles(electrons included) in the way you are suggesting.
Keep trying though.
