What are you going to do when you get to mars then? It doesn't seem like much fun over there, just a lot of rocks and dust. _________________

I think geniusjames may be interested in joining this project. _________________ “After Darwin, God's role changes from being the designer of all creatures, great and small, to being the designer of the laws of nature, from which natural selection can unfold, to being just perhaps the chooser of the laws.”

Sorry for the double post.
Well it wouldn't be surprising that building a space shuttle would be considerably less if a company were able to pursue it themselves. What with all the expensive contractors etc. pouring into NASA always wanting to get paid. Look at www.armadilloaerospace.com sometime. This is some true ghetto space travel, methane engines.
That's how it is with the movie industry anyway. 151 million on Transformers? Jesus, the same thing could be done with a team of 5 for a year for at least 400k. That's assuming you have to buy all the equipment and software too to do it, and the team paid around 60k. Hell you can get your actors for free if you wanted, go out to some college campus and your sure to get some. Then again the actors might bring down the quality of the movie, but you could always filter out the shitty ones. _________________
