Written by the victors, history is also a pack of lies about events that never happened told by people who weren't there.

    As around my locality.

Battle of Bosworth in 1485 and the birth of the Tudors
    .
Fought on Ambion Hill near the Warwickshire / Leicestershire border.
Drive up to the car park to pay and display. Learn about the battle in the visitor centre, then take a stroll along paths to learn more from information boards. Even visit the exact spot where Richard III fell.
It's a great day out, and with only one minor problem. The battle wasn't fought there at all. It took place a few miles away near to Stoke Golding where the 2 sides met across a marsh.
Very risky for one side to attack the other on a hill, I'm guessing.

    Shakespeare's Stratford in Warwickshire.

Tourists from all over the world visit his birthplace in the centre of town. A bus will take them out to Ann Hathaway's cottage and on the Mary Arden's house (his mother).
Also not to be missed is his grave inside Holy Trinity church, where they will also take your money. More adventurous souls might even seek out where Shakespeare married Hathaway.
At least that's what they want you to believe. There is no hard evidence that Shakespeare was actually born in the house or Hathaway lived at her cottage.
His mother did not live in her house but a tied cottage nearby.
His grave is not big enough for a body.
3 churches claim to have carried out the wedding ceremony.
And what are the odds that he was born on St. George's Day and 52 years later died on that day? Not sure about that. Something like a 1 in 3000 chance, I'm guessing.

Be interested if you can add to this.

Also put at 1 in 2800 and patron saint's day is very suspicious.
Also his name. Can you think of a more poetic name than William Shakespeare.
    IMO Shakespeare was Fulke Greville.

    Hah

Imagine being killed not from a killer, but by ghosts or aliens in your history time. Or by vampires like that had happened to the president Lincoln (he has action film about that).

Or to be betrayed by you own presidential administration how that had happend to John Kennedy in particular https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094NMRWPJ book I've finally read to the end today.

This is an evidence based forum and no evidence exists of ghosts, vampires or aliens.

If you want to discuss conspiracy theories then start a thread in pseudoscience.
