I aquired this photo of a scientist. It was taken around 1910, give or take a few years. I googled the names on the bottles on the shelves and they all lead to French websites. From this I assume he was a French scientist. The names on some of the bottles are Formol, Acid Acetique ..., Acid Chlorhy..., Acid Niyrique, Reactif Schardin Sirop Simplo, Alcool Amylique, Sublime Corrosif, etc.
Would he likely be a phamacist or a chemist? Can anyone say who he was?

Thanks for the replies. I hope to get more of them. As a person who enjoys old photos and trying to queeze all available information out of them, I am very interested in identifying this person.

You could try google image search: you can give it a link to an image and it will find similar images. I have used this in the past to identify people or things.
