It's causes seem to vary. A biological imperative is ruled out by the Seville Statement. Re: http://forums.delphiforums.com/subedai . The relatively low profile of this quintessential crisis is not a good sign.

Make peace. Just do it? How simple and complex is it?

Sorry, It may be that your writing style is unfamiliar to me, but I dont understand your point. Can you rephrase you question or statement so that it stands on its own(without a link and by specifying what the 'it' is refering to)?

(PS: I was able to follow your answer about gravity, but in this case Im not shure what the topic is really about)

    Dear icewendigo:
Over reliance on the information I access in the 'clicker' URL is probably keeping me from carrying on a comprehensive dialogue. I'm new to all this and keep referring people to books instead of conversation. With the exception of Pendragon, it doesn't seem like my visitors have time to read large quantities of material. Please excuse my poor judgement. I've been leaving URL addresses for reference, though there are no accomodations for conversation or Guest Commentary at those locations and it was my hope that such communications would occur here on a site like this, after a Reader perused the referenced book.
    Quite apparently I wa mistaken.

The'it' I refer to generally referst to waging peace, doing and saying what one may to encourage the posititve and discourage the negative, since in fact what Voltaire once called 'the war of it all' is routinely taking place all around us at one level or another.
Thank you for your post, it made me realize some important things about what I'm not doing in my TOPICS, though I have participated in several posts. In the TOPICS I access the reader to a book - several of them, depending on the TOPIC; whereas, when I join a conversation in a post I'm participational.
Needless to say, the title I chose for this topic is another way of saying that if mankind doesn't end war, war will end mankind. By your leave, sir, I've transported an anthology of reference books that relate to the subject of the causes, effects and possible remedies for violence in genera and war in particular. I don't expect you to acquire or read the list but it does provide an insight regarding the subjects at hand. We can talk about 'it' with a better understanding of what we're talking about from now on. It includes suggestons for deterring any kind of avoidable violence and warfare and I should have specified that from the beginning. I sincerely beg your pardon.
Might you have time to check out the last f or 4 chapters of NOMADS, CIVILIZATION & WAR at http://forums.delphiforums.com/subedai ?

Certainly it's not a requirement and I realize that it takes time. Because of your reply I think I now have a better understanding about why my TOPIC posts aren't active. People stop by, but they apparently haven't the time to invest in the information I access them to.
