Yeah, so it's not often I'm asking the questions in this health bit but I'm stumped.

So, I've got this soreness in the left side of the back of my hip. Sometimes it's there sometimes it's not. I usually notice it late in the day when it's there. I can't remember doing anything in particular to damage it. The main reason I bring it here is because it's been around for a while now and I can't seem to figure it out.

One day I sort of popped my hip joint (like you would your knuckles) and the pain went away. Kinda weird.

I do some pretty strenuous activities. Running, jumping, climbing, rolling. In fact, now that I think about it, sometimes when I roll on pavement I hit kind of hard in that area, all though I can't see why the pain would last this long.
I'm thinking it may have something to do with my posture. I sit on a ball at my computer and hunch over far more often than I like (it's one of those things you don't really notice your doing and then you sit up and feel all sore).

I'm going to decrease the impact of my training and do some more yoga type stuff to see if that helps.

    Any ideas would be great.

I know I should visit my doctor. I plan on it but I'm going through some changes with my work and thus my insurance so I'm kind of holding off right now. Normally I figure stuff out on my own.

    Thanks for anything.

If you notice it late in the day... at work?... it could well be your posture, I would recommend a proper orthoptic chair, could help or go see a physiotherapist, probably more helpful than a doctor here.

Well, I'm actually standing and walking all day. I meant when I sit at home.
I've been paying more attention to my posture in everything though and it seems it might be helping. Also, the nice 40 min hatha yoga session in the mornings might be helping. Hopefully that's it (the posture I mean). I'd hate to think I seriously damaged anything.
