I have to write a paper on the current targeted biological therapies for cancer,

could anyone point me in the direction of a good starting place, I know about doing medline searches and the cochrane library, its not the easiest place to start though!!!

ANY help would be really appreciated.

If you're having trouble getting started, what you can do is read a few other websites with general information on biological cancer therapies, such as wikipedia, if it has such an article. Once you have a better handle on the different types of biological therapies and the specific cancers they've been tried on, you can make a much more effective search through PubMed or medline or whatever. Also, once you have a few articles to start with, you can pause to read them. Those too will help you get a better idea of what to search for, and you can even look up the references the authors list for where they got their own background information.

It's not the easiest thing and the world, and it will take time and effort. So just get started. That's the best way to get it done.

Man can will nothing unless he has first understood that he must count on no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth.
