I'm taking a course right now called Humor And Health. The course isn't really that great, but it's somewhat interesting. There are a studies on the effect of humor on health, and there are definitely some benefits from having humor in your life and just generally having a positive attitude and being happy. People recently exposed to humor have increased levels of Immunoglobulin A, which is the body's first line of defenese against respiratory infections, and deep laughing can lower blood pressure. Sometime I'll find an article that has more effects, I can't think of anything else right now... Comments?
