Does anyone know about the seven nerves which enter the gluteal region from the pelvis through the greater sciatic foramen?
The nerves are the superior gluteal nerve, sciatic nerve, nerve to quadratus femoris, nerve to obturator internus, posterior cutaneous nerve of thigh, pudendal nerve and inferior gluteal nerve. How are these arranged?

Theyre arranged as to whether or not they pass superiorly or inferiorly to the pirifmormis muscle. All are deep to gluteus maximus and that's about it, it depends where they're going after that.

If you want to talk about variation the major thing is the sciatic can pass through or superior to piriformis which is relevant for administering injections.

Which anatomy book are you using?
