I'm thinking outside the box for a friend in the USA regarding their recent ALS diagnosis. In the USA there are drugs to treat ALS but because they are not FDA approved they aren't available. Any good suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

travel out of the USA for treatment.
Also [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALS#Management] which of these is not available in the USA per the FDA?
Interesting is Neuralink. It just received FDA approval for clinical trials.

Given the volume of lab animal and monkey deaths and other cruelty involved in Neualink (the Musk unethical and dangerous humanbeing factor not withstanding), I would HIGHLY recommend against going anywhere near it
