I recently read an article that this virus we are all dealing with is killed quickly by sunlight. My question is, can I use my wife's tanning bed to disinfect packages and items coming into our home.

I don't know, but I disinfect my shopping with soap and water (fairy liquid ,actually)

I would guess that it would be practically as convenient a method as your's (if your's did in fact work)

I just take 5 or ten minutes to do my 2 or 3 days' worth of shopping.

I have read that there is no real need to do this but at least I know I have eliminated one area of anxiety once the job is done.

After further research, I have read several articles which say it is unlikely UV has much impact on the virus.

So, apparently now, they are saying sunlight does help to kill the virus. It is hard to sort out when our president starts talking about flushing peoples lungs with sanitizer, and UV light. I really don't know what to believe anymore.

You allow your judgment to be swayed when "your president talks talking" about this subject?

Is it not easier to flush his assertions from your mind and try to find more reliable sources upon which to form your opinions.?

More directly :don't ingest or inject any disinfectant product into your body as it will cause illness or death.

Moreover please ignore anything reassembling medical advice from the cretin you have elected to the post of President of the USA.

    God Help America.

Sir, I am not a disciple of this man, and certainly not a window licker. I saw some articles about the sunlight thing (obviously on surfaces), than several which attempted to debunk the claims. I don't self-medicate with anything other properly prepared spirits . Since the government (professionals) finding have been introduced more openly, I have again resumed using the tanning bed, in conjunction with normal cleaning techniques, to sanitize the groceries, and other items coming into my home.
