Below is a list of chemicals taken from the package of a one dollar fruitcake I purchas at Dollar General, and was made in Baltimore:
Mononitrate
sodium benzoate
sorbic acid
sulfur dioxide
chemical colorings
propylene glycol
monoesters
monoycerides
diycerides
sodium caseinate
artificial flavors
sodium acid pyrophosphate
sodium bicarbonate
mono calcium phosphate
sodium propionate
potassium sorbate
After eating this, my sensitive G.I. system rebelled! Then, only, did I look at the label. Anyone else have another good example? I myself always carry a small magnifying lens in my pocked just to read fine print like this. If the print is fine, it is all the more important to read because they are using it to hide smething sneaky---like the fine print in cell phone contracts and above your singature in credit card applications!
