    I don't know much about this stuff but I think it is really cool that they did this. Would love to read other's thoughts on it.

    From the article:
    Scientists have grown a kidney in a laboratory and shown that it works when implanted into a living animal. The work is an important step towards the longer-term goal of growing personalised replacement organs that could be transplanted into people with kidney failure.
    Yes I know personalized is spelled wrong, but that is how they spelled it in the article. Lazy editors, dumb reporters, who knows who is to blame.


    Speaking badly about people after they are gone and jumping on the bash the band wagon must do very well for a low self-esteem.

    They are just English "personalise" is an accepted variant in UK English...

    If anything, "personalized" is the "accepted variant" in the UK; "personalise" is the correct UK English spelling.
    The use of Z's instead of S's is considered to be an Americanism.

    what i want to know is why the british even have a z if they hardly ever use it?!

    but this sounds cool, apparently they've done it with other organs too.
