Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone who knows a bit about nutrition and physiology can help me with my essay.
I have an essay about "the relative effect of carbohydrate and protein in fatigue and vitality"
I have done some research and if I understand, carbohydrates makes you tired, moody, which is the fatigue because of the level of serotonin in the brain and protein inhibit tryptophan to enter the brain blood barrier therefore less serotonin so we feel lively, more reactive, which is the vitality side.
Actually i have to talk about the acute effect of a rich carbohydrate drink and rich protein drink on the vitality and fatigue, considering more of the brain function.
If anyone can help me to extend my research, that would be great, you can also send me a message.

    Thank you
