So I was thinking about how the body uses sugar during excersize. Please correct me if I am wrong. If someone sprints they very quickly use up their sugar stores and then must switch to aerobic respiration. Once that cannot support the energy demands they switch to anarobic. So what if you sprint untill it hurts (lactic acid), and then walk a little, and then sprint till it hurts, then walk etc. This way your sugar stores have to keep being used up whenever they are refilled. Would you use more sugar doing this as opposed to just plain jogging?
