    Forgive this extra long post but i thought i should share this with some scientific minds. This " cancer prevention guide" was posted on a car forum that i am on, it has had alot of replies both for and against. To me it seems like complete rubbish and alot of it is unavoidable anyway.

    Is there some truth in this or is it the ramblings of a mad man?

    If you have health problems, you should go to a specialist and see if your body is lacking any nutrients or minerals... because of our modern life styles, its possible that you may not be digesting a key element needed for good health. If this is the case, you need to eat the right foods or if you have cancer, get it pumped into your blood stream for now.

    Here are a list of things I would do, listed in the order of importance.

    Get at-least 30 minutes of sun between 11am-3pm or at least be under the clouds for some hours in the day to create 3-10 days worth of real vitamin D
    One can also get vitamin D from salmon but only eat it 1-2 times a week max because of mercury in all fish (farmed salmon should always be avoided). Areas north of the equator (above California) are too far away from the sun 6 months out of the year for UV B rays to make vitamin D in the skin. Weather websites have UV stats for the day and anything rating 3 and above will create vitamin D.
    There are expensive UV B bulbs for home use that can simulate the suns UV B rays, this is good for people living north during the winter. Sun tanning salons should be avoided, there bulbs use a majority of UV A rays and overall can cause skin cancer
    Avoid sun screen lotions but if you are going to be burnt, order trusted ones from Dr.Mercola or lotions of the same properties.

    Sleep 8 hours a day and make sure the room is totally dark, pitch black. Certain body repair functions dont work if even a computer monitor or outside lights is shining in the room. There is a reason why people who work graveyard shifts have higher cancer rates.

    Drink up to 8 glasses of water

    Learn to avoid stress as it impairs the immune system

    Go for a jog at least 2 times a week, on top of many benefits, this exercises the heart and 20 minutes of soft jogging will start burning fat.

    Avoid sugar as it has over 20 side effects and helps cancer grow.

    Always eat fresh food, as in chop it raw, cook it for a short period of time (except meat, low and long) and keep the heat temperature under medium to preserve vitamins and nutrients.
    Try to make just enough for each meal so that you avoid reheating food and losing nutrients.

    Consume many fruits (blue berries) and vegetables - fresh, nothing canned... dried is still very good

    Eat whole wheat bread (It should have under ~5 ingredients), make it your self for the best results

    Eat lots of the turmeric spice, even in raw form because it is said to be one of the most powerful foods to shrink cancer.

    Include nuts, dates, seeds and figs in your diet (as natural as possible without flavoring)

    Drink atleast 1, but not more then 3 glasses of black tea's everyday, also not right after meals as it reduces iron from absorbing in the gut. Black tea prevents cancer as should green tea -You should avoid coffee (although said to prevent prostate and some breast cancers) and any excess caffeine.

    Consume chocolate (with high 50-70% cacao content), tomato paste (without MSG), and honey in small quantities (avoid wild or suspected GMO plant source honey... also products from Turkey and some things from Europe because of radiation through the Chernobyl accident)

    Get stung by a bee (there are practitioner that will do this for you), this can trigger the immune system to work better/properly
    Actually Honey and many times more powerful, eating the comb is said to fight cancer

    Mangosteen (fruit) juice from Thailand Reishi and Turkey Tail Mushrooms is said to work against cancer



    Things to keep in mind

    Never use the microwave, not only for its effects on food (zaps majority of nutrition), but also the radiation it emits when its working.

    Dont drink milk, yogurt may be okay on occasion

    Avoid soy milk and any other soy products! because of GMO, pesticide residue and other reasons

    Don't use Teflon or other miracle none stick pans (illness, cancer, birth defects), cast iron is the best and can also be none stick if seasoned right... stainless steel is good too.

    Try to use "extra" virgin olive oil, look for ones actually from Italy, not Tunisia or other countries because of GMO's and pesticide risk. Don't use Canola cooking oil. Grape-seed may be okay, specially for frying and high heated cooking

    Beware of electrical currents close to your living and sleeping area (EMF). Specially alarm clocks, wire outlets in the wall by your bed, and computer wires by your body.

    Wifi radiation is hazardous, specially when it is being used, like to watch videos.     florescent light bulbs give off dirty electricity and also contain mercury if they are broken, companies will charge $3000+ to come to your house and clean this mess, that's how hazardous Mercury is.

    Use a chlorine and fluoride (added to many American drinking waters) filter system for your drinking water tap. Reverse osmosis systems are not recommended because they take out minerals and after drinking water, by way of osmosis, it is said that it drains some of the minerals in the body after urinating. If your states water system is really dirty, its really recommended then.
    Use non fluoride toothpaste and avoid all bottled water as it contains fluoride (should be labeled in small print) and leached plastic chemicals which mess with the bodies hormones

    Learn where MSG is found and the many endless labels it can have... for example often foreign jars of tomato paste dont have MSG or much anti-fungi agents in them (I use products from Iran)

    Very expensive clones and perfumes contain real natural flowers for there good scent, other products and smells also found in shampoos and soaps are made with petroleum and can cause cancer.
    Salt stone type deodorants are recommended as the majority of other deodorants soak into the body through the skin release harmful chemicals as does makeup and hair dyes.

    New clothes, even from reputable manufactures can contain hazardous chemicals, children are specially at risk... even with some plastic toys.
    Baby food is often spiked with MSG.

    From my understanding Cancer is a response of the body to having too little of the right nutrients and amino acids needed to facilitate the manufacture of the self-destruct code from the DNA. Without the ability to make that code the cells cannot die properly and end up continually taking nutrients even when they are no longer able to perform the function they were designed to do. Contrary to popular scientific opinion the DNA doesn't run the cell. It is just the library where it goes to get the blueprints to make something for the cell. The "brain" of a cell (for lack of a better word) is the cell membrane. This has many attachments in the form of receptors and ionic passages. Many of the receptors are sugars and they react to the surrounding environment. Telling the cell to move towards food and away from harm. If you 'shave' a cell of these receptors the cell does not react to anything and does not continue to function as it cannot ingest or excrete anything without any information. If you remove the DNA from a cell it continues to function normally until cell death through failure of organs as there are no longer any blueprints from which to repair or remake those organs.
    Anyway back to cancer, the common mud put out by big Pharma and big Science is that it cannot be cured and that people need to have chemo. Chemo has only ever helped less than 5% of people who have taken it. It is the most effective way to cause cancer (through dis-ease of the body after ingesting the radioactive substance) and it is almost guaranteed to kill the patient (95% success rate there ). Natural remedies have different levels of help from none at all to 80% success rates (though you won't see these in the media...). Some natural remedies are better than others but as with all of them they DON'T HAVE SIDE EFFECTS. You can take them and see if it works or not. If it has no effect you are free to try another knowing you haven't done any harm to yourself (barring allergies). Another story in support of Mangosteen was a lady who went through chemo for thyroid cancer at the same time as 7 other patients. She insisted that she was intravenously fed the Mangosteen juice when she could no longer drink it herself. The other patients didn't have the juice at all. In April of this year she walked out of hospital with no cancer left and recovering well from the chemo. The other 7 patients were all in the morgue. Now this is only one natural remedy, there are many others with cancer relieving and healing properties too, I just have experience with this one hence the quotes (names omitted for privacy reasons).

    I would agree the Medical establishment is a bogus group of people who have taken the route of being taught about synthetic drugs and refuse by and large to acknowledge that natural methods work or indeed can do what they claim is impossible. Anyone claiming that something is impossible is usually just closed minded and refuses to see both sides of a discussion.

    The 'dos' aren't too bad. Some of the don'ts are just bizarre; likely new age hippy thinking.

    Sorry, I didn't read it all, but I just saw "avoid GMO's" about 3 or 4 times, this really annoys me. Surely there couldn't be any evidence that GMO's cause cancer?

    There's no evidence of any harm associated with them whatsoever. Which is not to say that there is none, but rather that the assumption is unfounded.

    Most of the original post is very light on useful sources. Parts of it could be true, parts of it could actually be harmful. How do you know, without verifiable sources? Any health advice that cites YouTube videos and commercial websites as sources is offering us basically no actual knowledge.

    The message is a terrible mix of good stuff and utter crap.
    First : little applies to cancer. The do's and don'ts are related to general health, not cancer. There is some evidence, for example, that a cancerous growth actually benefits if the victim concentrates on a good, nutrient rich, diet.

    Lots of the things said are based on dogma, not science. GM's were mentioned by another poster, and correctly, saying there is no proven harm to health from any. Microwave ovens are fine. Like any method of cooking they destroy a few vitamins, but so what? As long as you get your daily minimum, anything over that is just expensive urine anyway. In the same way, there is nothing wrong with cooking food. If you get your daily quota of vitamins, it does not matter if you are destroying some of them. A good balanced diet is what counts, not whether you eat food raw or cooked. In fact, there is strong evidence that Homo sapiens is adapted to eating cooked food, not raw.

    8 glasses of water per day are not needed. A few million years of evolution have guaranteed that, if you drink when thirsty, you get the liquids you need. Avoiding stress totally is not needed. Small amounts of stress are actually stimulating, and therefore healthy. Excess stress is what you should avoid, or at least manage.

    While tea is good, so is coffee. Just neither to excess. Four cups per day is fine. Ten is bad.

    This reference is hung up on "super-foods" like turmeric, black tea, chocolate etc. These things are fine, but they are merely part of a balanced diet. Variety is the key - not "super-foods".

    On the foods it says work against cancer - forget it! The main things that work against cancer are chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery.

    thanks for the replies guys. I figured that alot of it is common sense, general medical advice and part of a blanced diet.

    the weird stuff like letting a bee sting you to boost your immune system sounds too far out to me

    I don't believe that food can be regarded as a medicine to fight cancer. Just concentrate on a healthy lifestyle, try and maintain a good body/mass index and hope that it stays away from you. One thing though, do not smoke - even if you get away with it, someone else can still be affected passively. Most of all, don't ignore any warning signs. If some unusual bodily activity continues go straight to the doctor. It costs little or nothing to be checked out, and it could save your life. I've seen several people around me fall victim and die recently, good men and women who ignored signs until it was too late.For me, I finished 8 weeks of radiotherapy last week for prostate cancer. It caused me a few minor side effects and I'm still a little bit tired, but yesterday I walked up a high hill and even played a round of golf. So I guess I've got a chance now. I've always loved outdoor activity and I've never been overweight. Nobody in my immediate family ever got cancer but I managed to get it. I was very lucky to get tested out when I did and that was 4 years ago now.
