I recommend refined petroleum oil. You can use this in your car to drive to a skin specialist.

There are no legitimate homoeopathy practices. Homoeopathy doesn't work.

I guess if you or your homeopathy guy enjoy having him masturbate on your face ----then it definitely would be beneficial for at least one of you.

    Forget them all.

The best way of caring for your skin is to protect it from sunlight, refrain from smoking and other toxic habits, and get a good diet and lots of exercise, combined with appropriate rest and relaxation. The rest is bullshit.

Absolutely. I have no time for Dr Oz normally (I find his acceptance and even promotion of unscientific medical notions absolutely reprehensible) but he did say one really clever thing.

Someone asked if there were a 'miracle cream' to prevent wrinkles. His answer, Yes! It's called sunscreen.

Whoops! I forgot the title of the thread. I realise that you probably didn't mean it this way, but 'essential oils' are often used in the aromatherapy and massage areas.

Never, never, never put an 'essential oil' on your skin, on the face or anywhere else. They should be used only in eye-dropper or similarly small quantities added to much larger measures of other liquid. If you accidentally spill some on your skin when filling an oil burner for instance you don't try to wash it off with water, you use oil, cooking or massage oil doesn't matter, but oil, to dilute and remove it.

You can get nasty reactions to them. Maybe not fullblown allergies, but certainly sensitivities and irritation which we can all do without.

There is a very good product, "Bag Balm", it is a veternary ointment developed to prevent chaping and cracking of cows udders in harsh new england winters. It has been made in vermont for many years. Basicly it is petroleum jelly with lanolin and an antiseptic. It is good for anything with skin. Apply a small amount and rub in well.
