In my admittedly short life i have experienced a variety of odd sleeping patterns, one thing that i noticed is that after approximately 5 hours of sleep, I can function at full efficency without feeling tired.
However i find it hard to sleep for just 5 hours and alarms fail to wake me up. So i considered this idea.
Rather than 5 hours each night, Would have a night of non sleep followed by a 10hr? sleep the following night be possible? after 10 hours i theorize that i would easily be roused, the sleep I recieve would be exactly the same and therefore there should be no side effects.
Admittedly i have little technical knowledge on sleep theory. can someone comment on this idea
