Can DNA change in a non-radioactive environment? Can I change my DNA?

Yes mutations can be induced chemically, and you can have replication errors among others.

There's an independent copy of your DNA in every cell in your body. Mutations don't occur uniformly across your cells. If you are exposed to strong enough ionising radiation or to a mutagenic chemical, different mutations will occur in many different cells. Some of them will die or become tumors. Some very few might gain a benefit, though this is rare. None of this would be passed along to the next generation. Only mutations occurring in your gamete cells (sperm or ova) or the gamete progenitors can be passed on.

As already mentioned, your cells' own replicative activity will occasionally generate mutations, but again these will be scattered around your body.

You can change how your genes are expressed through lifestyle choices.

    See:

That is true, I saw a study that showed up regulation of several genes that have been identified as risk factors for cancer in individuals under stress.
