I desperately want to get those thumb print at the base of my back and tone up my back and bum does anyone have any good exercise tips i could try?
I have two small children so i never have time to go the gym so if anyone has any around the house exercises to try out i would be really grateful.
I already do all the other good stuff, eat right, lots of fruit & veg and drink lots of water as well as a mountain of house work every day, so im not just sitting about ether...
Also after a terrible pregnancy last year which left me very dehydrated and horribly scared and then having to go through an emergency C section I'm left with a lot of loose skin on my belly...
Any idea's on how to reduce it a bit, bio oil has done all it can do now i think, I'm not looking for a miracle obviously I've excepted that my body will never again be the same but a little help would be great, i need a little confidence boost and not being able to fit in any of my pre pregnancy clothing just isn't helping...

Any tips at all will be greatly received...

Do squats (standing up from the squating position) with some light weights, but this will also strengthen your quadriceps. Read up or have someone show you how to do this properly, otherwise it could cause injury.

Try doing sit ups for your stomach but I don't know how good the results may be for you.

Get a bike and get cycling! It's excellent for bums and thighs (and so is rollerblading if you've got anywhere to do that?)

Sit ups and abdominal exercises will help obviously

I have found Shea butter & Pumpkin seed oil to be excellent for firming the skin (as well as deterring dry skin & wrinkles) they both are rich in vitamins & minerals

You can buy Shea butter online and pumpkin seed oil in the supermarket.

It sounds like some areas need a bit of extra TLC. Flab that's hard to shift often boils down to trapped fats and toxins. These tend to be places which get the least exercise- e.g bums & tums!

Just rubbing it in to any flabby areas will help because it will get the circulation and lymphatic system going & break down toxins stored in fat cells which give cellulite. After a couple of months i bet you will notice a difference.

Another thing that will help is dry body brushing. Body brushes are relatively inexpensive from health shops (Body Shop sell a good one) try to get one with a long handle so you can reach awkward places.
Before you have a bath brush yourself all over with the brush, starting from your extremities e.g tips of fingers & toes and brush in sweeping motions ALWAYS TOWARDS THE HEART!
Its great for getting the lymphatic system running better and shifting toxins. You will positively glow and tingle afterwards. It's also a good way of boosting energy levels.

Go on treat yourself to a regular massage and a bit of pampering (easily said than done when you've got kiddies i know), it sounds like you've had a tough time and you deserve it!!!

You do have time for cycling.

Two tots, groceries, plus a hill, you'll be sweating where it counts. The jiggles put them to sleep, the scenery grows their brains. Buy energy bars not petrol.
