I was woundering... Is it possible to seperate the STD from a cell?

Example: seperate cancer from a blood cell

I am not saying, "just take a scalpel and Slice it up (would be nice though), there are manny things sine STDs do not like, or die from, so why not find away something which repells some kinds of STDs. Like HPV, the immune sistem can fight it untill the desease hides right? "tell me if i am wrong please" Maybe if a humans body had something inside which did not allow the "herpies" to hide, we could then find a cure, although "herpies" is a virus, and "NEARLY" impossible to destroy, i think by seperation and agression there is a chance to cure it.

ok the vast majority of STDs are bacterial and can be cured; antibiotics, problem solved. The exceptions are viral STDs and there is nothing which differenciates sexually transmitted viruses from other viruses.

If you want to take say HIV as an example, the problem is that it genetically integrates itself into the cell's genome which makes it impossible to separate it from the cell since it is now part of "the cell" itself. This is common to most viruses although they may just retain RNA/DNA in the cell and not genomically integrate themselves.

What do you mean by separation in terms of biological mechanisms?

Um I think learning some basic virology would help clear up your questions.

Although, as for repelling viruses, basically that's how immunity to certain viruses is achieved, your body produced antibodies that bind to receptors on the virus and prevent the virus from infecting cells. Like in the case of influenza where IgG can bind to hemaglutinin on the virus surface to prevent the binding to epithelial cells.

but what about "repelants" that the body can not produce? antibiotics FAIL most of the time because they do not contain the needed materials to sustain the effect, and long lasting backfire. But if a human could force a white cell to "eat up" the infected cell would be great. If it is not possible then why not try to use the same method cancer is destroyed, by killing the infected cells? Or does the virus spread through the entire body and that would only cause more damage?

For crying out loud, we are Americans "a lot of us are atleast", and today the only problems we have is economy and STDs. The infected people are going to die anyway, then why not try some of the methods that the goverment would say to be "wrong" or "unhumane"? Why not burn the cells with radiation in certain areas where the infection is the most, or injecting a dose of "Stem cells" which right now is considered "unhumane", but it cures a lot of things, so why not go for it?
this is not the 1800's when everyone thought you could cure an illness by bleeding,
we are more advanced and we can work a way out, if we gave our research to the russians, they would have already had 100000 theories. and at least 4 educated guesses. We can't just find a cure, call it "unhumane", and dump it, we should give it to Different countries. The reason why it might take another 1000 years to cure some STDs is because we say it is impossible because it is a virus.
WE SPLIT A MOLECULE. why can we not split our cells and find something much more usfull? MILLIONS ARE DYING, and i feel it is because i am not doing my part. so someone, please explain to me, why can we not all co-operate with other countries to descover a cure?

[or we can just go and legalise to ease the pain before people die in pain. THIS IS STUPID. Just pump the blood to the brain before a painful death.]

    Perhaps like an antibiotic?

antibiotics FAIL most of the time because they do not contain the needed materials to sustain the effect, and long lasting backfire.
That's simply not true, there are some issues with resistance but the vast majority of the time, this can be overcome by a replacement.

But if a human could force a white cell to "eat up" the infected cell would be great.
Yep, macrophage and neutrophils do this.
    this is not the 1800's
...exactly, we cant simply separate ourselves from those with infectious diseases/STDs.

There are huge efforts internationally going on to cure diseases such as HIV but its not easy.

I agree with i_feel_tiredsleepy, read some virology.
