ok. description: we have to chose a topic [be it an individual/event] in the past history that has afected the future, in reality anything.
its for history. but i didn't want to post there becasue it dosen't get a wider view, and im not looking for historical links... im looking for...

A wide sorce of information on all angles of the neuclear weapons form design to usage.. to further developement... and on into the cold war.

we can pick anything really EDIT: well anything relative to our course and seen as you do not know the corse it was a silly question!, and i want to do a science angle,

that was my first idea, a broad view of the lot. but if you can think of any other topic i could do?

im looking fotr books/web sorces on the above topic, and also more ideas,

    thank you all in advance,

cheers, your friendly and sinceraly Goodgod3rd!

How about the radio? Or, perhaps Gallileo or Newton?

"The influence of the exclusion of Beatrix from Dante meeting Christ (in Dante's Paradise), by William Blake on modern thought."

When that fails, take Thales. He is the very beginning of history, and we based our educational system on him. He is a very interesting figure you can write a lot about.

i know, i have found a good web based site for the atomic bomb, but i also need books,

so i asked everyone i though of! :? i for one do not wish to fork out 20 odd euro for a book that is crap! i'd rather know about the book first!
and searchingthe net is slow process on dial up, and i was jsut wondering ...if you had somealready!

eg, if you suggest a topic, you may of reasearched it yourself at one stage!

im not there yet.. but getting there

The problem with books is, on that subject, their complexity. The atomic bomb is at its foundation relatively easy, but when you get deeper, it becomes very, very difficult.

I'd suggest going to Barnes and Nobles, and find a book with a good score.
