Sorry to spoil your party, but I prefer non-moving avatars  Yours is still quite neutral, but every movement in the screen tends to divert attention.

Definitely not !! Avatars are meant to be small !!
and not like the robot you displayed animating, anyways that not the avatar,
it's a simple pic which you got, while surfing on net !!

I'm assuming by "-ve" you mean "negative". I figured this out by context, and only afterward did I realize that the dash was indeed meant to be a negative sign. But therein lies the problem with your abbreviation. If "-" means "negative", then you're writing "negativeve". And clearly you can't just use "-". So just write it out.

Yash, if i'm right, you are from India.

And others, in India we usually write "-ve" for negative and "+ve" for positive.

We don't use just "-" or "+" because it doesn't give a clear single meaning. some people may think its PLUS, and take it to be its original meaning (addition).

And, by the way does any one of you know the meaning of the word AVATAR???

Yes i've said before on a thread on the forum

Avatar = the manifestation of a Hindu deity in visible form

Krishna manifested as an avatar to Arujna as his charioteer in the Baghavad Gita

Well done Jane. Round of applause, and a standing ovation for her.

    To quote Ophiolite:

See she edited her post oh the irony. Thing is it shows the time she edited it (which is after this original post. You can't win against me, becasue to win is to lose. Seeing as you like to make your avatar an animation I post I can find one that will make us all laugh.

Well, I was researching religious symbols on the Internet recently when I came across the Khanda – that’s how I know. :-D

The reason I was looking up religious symbols is because I wanted to find a symbol for the Sikh religion for a forum on relition I was setting up: http://forums.delphiforums.com/_religions/start

Sikhism is one of the most youngest religion, because it came into existence during late 1400's ,for rest of the details i would suggest you to see it on wiki.. as it would provide you with more precise details about Sikhism.

no Hanuka, you have a wrong idea about indians, no indian religion says that you are just meant to meditate !! with no other work !!
Every religion has its customs and duties which the person, belonging to that religion has to follow !!
    hmm...meditation
well...if am not wrong you'ld have surely seen this kind of stuff in animated shows like simpsons or some movie !!

There's something hypnotic about your avatar, Yash.
I think if I watch it long enough I'll fall into a trance, or go to sleep... zzz...

I think I've got the best image signature around here! (Considering there aren't many! 8))

    Here are some my creations:
Sudhamsu on the Road - Copied the ProStreet style.
    Blissy
Jasola - This ones for an Orkut community
Sud in the Rain - This one will take some time to load properly, its about 2 MB.
Raghav 1 - For a friend, I really like the wet text look on this one and the one above! They are actually just two 2-D layers giving the impression of a 3-D object. I think that is one of my best achievements so far!
Raghav 2 - For the same friend
    Lost - Here's a matching Avatar
There are many more... But I didn't upload them all, for the sake of the viewer!
(Background image copied in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th images. Rest of them are 100% original work, including the Road, the Tire Marks, the Rain and the Bubble)

I haven't changed my Avatar and Signature since I joined. I'm considering a change. See you soon with a new set! I bet its gonna be the best!

No, its not what you think bro.
I would suggest you to resize it to make it bit enlarged. Only then it can actually match mine to some extent.

    Looks like "ALOHA STATE".

Is this better? Resized it for your avatar Steve.

    Hello Kalster,

yes it's a lot better, and it's got a 50's look a little, I think. How did you do it?

You don't grab the outlines and resize them manually, you stretch the image under 'stretch/skew' in MS paint, works for me without pixelation.

Found a website where you can enter your own text on American licence plates and exported the image. Then I resampled it in Corel Photo-Paint to a width of 106 pixels. All in all it took about 5 minutes. You can use it for your avatar if you wish.

    Yash,

why do you want me to get rid of mine? I made it myself, it even took me a while, and I definitely will keep it. If I won't I will create an other one myself. Btw. now they are too bright I think.

    But lovely anyway.

Steve, i don't want you to get rid of your avatar !! I just wanted to make it look more lively and that's it, nothing else !!
But, still as i said before we should believe on our own decisions and not on that of others. Steve you successfully completed and passed your decision making test, I'm proud of you my friend.

Well I don't like images so much. I made an avatar which was working for me. That's about it, basically. Perhaps, I should not have posted here. Take care.

Yes I like it. Was it you, the ruler of the universe, looking down your spaceship to earth? I think we are on the Internet where I have not any information about you. I can't know who you are and what your intentions are.

Might be you are about to invade our planet? Are you?

Steve even my previous thread "Wishes to each and every religion" had gone far off topic, you can see it by your self. It was really fun in indulging in that thread.

    Hello Yash,

I'm sorry, I upgraded my computer and only by now noticed your reply to the post.

Well, I got to the clue, that I, myself, was Gott. Not to be mistaken to god, Jesus, the son of god, Jesus Christus Gott, The President of the United States, or whomsoever.

Again, I'm sorry for the belated reply.
