I love the '50s, that is, the 2050s.I love technology and can't help but get excited like a little kid on Christmas when I think about the possibilities on offer in the near future. I would gladly extend my life by a few hundred years if I could, just to experience the technology!
Alternatively, I would love to be able to travel the world in ancient times and prehistoric times. I don't care that much about our recent history.
I'm looking forward to the future too :-D.
I think i'd like the 1920's, before the crash. As long as i wasn't poor, black or female. Think it'd be much better if i was exploiting the above.![]()
I like the dark ages. Ancient Egypt. The future will definately be interesting as well.
The best time period is still in the future![]()

When I was young I always wanted to be an archeaologist. That never panned out though. Just recently I began getting more and more interested in the nature of the universe, time and space and why things happened the way they did. Actually just the other day I was thinking to myself "What if I was given 1 wish?" Then I thought "Ahh that would be easy, I would just wish to know all there is about the nature of the universe"
So basically I'm very interested in the future as well to see where things go and such but if I was only given a choice as to the past of what to pick I would probably have to pick the time period of Egypt or the time period of the Mayans/Aztecs/etc...
best time period is before structured societies
15th Century when Genghis Khan was kicking ass or was that the 14th Century lol

Anyone who doesn't answer 'postsingular era' is a dumb@$$. lol jk.
My favorite time in history is the ancient times. Like Ancient Egypt, what I would give to read a realllllly good book about it right now. =)
I pretty fond of medieval Europe myself.
Moses and Akhenaten, that is an excellent book about the period. It theorises that Moses and the pharaoh Akhenaten are in fact one in the same.Originally Posted by Crim50nredd
