I am trying to get hold of typical science technology that is no longer used. Things like a satellite dish that has been superseded by more efficient, smaller models. Indeed, anything of this ilk that has been surpasssed by smaller models.

Also I am on the lookout for any scientific technology that may have looked futuristic and advanced in say, 50's cinema but no longer is, such as valve computers and the kind of things to be found in old defence bunkers.

If anyone can help me, please let me know.

    thanks.

A hand full of vacuum tubes, and a Van De Graff generator....Because it reminds me of 80's sci-fi films...."The year 2000; robots rule the Earth. man is on a desperate galactic mission to find new life, and civilization...ruled by the evil Dr.zargon...**chilling 80's synthesiser**...all hope is lost". :P On that note, CRT monitors would be good too.
