Yes, SS has been banned (refer to the "beahavioral science" fall-out.

    Ophiolite really felt challenged.

As a moderator I cannot ban anyone. I can however request a ban. I did this for Stream's offensive remarks to Paralith. The ban is of a single week's duration.

Did I feel challenged by him? You bet. I found no way in which to persuade him that a) he is unintelligble; b) he really should try to change that. I have some hopes that the week long ban may cause him to rethink his position.

We really must stop dredging up this old thread with inane chatter.

I shall post a reminder to this effect on the thread on a weekly basis.

We're finally saying what we thought about sS, as our replies seem to fit in the right topic.

No doubt he is missed, however, many fine and interesting dotcomrades remain, to our mutual advantage. Was dredging through random threads, there are worse ways of wasting time waiting for smoke to clear, CURSE YOU, FOUL OVEN!

When the dead speak, it is not necromancy- it is history. Ignore it at your peril, dotcomrade...

And yet you have been asked before not to necro threads, especially ones that are not relevant and where half the participants are no longer active.

Also as all the thread watch lists were erased with the transfer to the now forum software in july anything prior to that will not have any watchers anyway.

Let's just lock it and let it sink back to the depths. Finger Prince, please stop digging up the old dead threads, unless there is some new reason to discuss the topic.
