What subject/object moves you the most? What do you find so fascinating, beautiful or impossible that it nearly brings you to tears? What is your true passion and motivation?

For me, it'd have to be astronomy. I'll never forget gazing through my proff's telescope, atop the physics building, at various globular clusters, galaxies, comets and planets. I'll never forget the tears and lump in my throat, the raw beauty of the sky around us that moved me so. The Hubble Deep Feild images instill in me a sense of overwhelming BIGness, that the universe is so huge and unfathomable. I get excited when I discuss quasars, black holes and stellar evolution. My friend and I have many many jokes about the Whirlpool galaxy and it's inevitable "feeding" off of it's smaller companion galaxy. I have found family in my astronomy class....

    Ever felt that?

I expect the worst but hope for the best.

Science, mathematics, music, philosophy, and perhaps literature. I was nearly brought to tears once while reading an article on some biology topic...can't remember exactly what. I can definitely relate to what you're saying.

The most incredible thing to me is just to be able to open my eyes.

Science fascinates me, and often leaves me in awe, but never moves me. Only occurrences involving or affecting people and animals seem to affect me emotionally.

Music. The best invention ever created. And playing a musical instrument just puts you in a whole new realm of existence.
