    Come on I know its another thread but if we are not giving our names because we are concerned we will get age bias then its a bit discriminating if someone does that. That aside how old are you guys and gals?

    I'm not afraid of age bias. I just like to keep you guessing. I am older than you. Certainly a curmudgeon; not yet a codger.

    I'm 20, and am biased not only against anyone younger than me, as well as anyone older than me, but anyone who happens to not be me.

    Hopefully, that doesn't pertain to you.

    Yup... Lucky :wink:

    Got a good job.
    great family.

    I grew up in Vegas. Born in Aneheim CA. My father preformed in the Excalibur for 8...9 years? From there, he continued on to Wyoming, and I finished school at ITT tech where I learned the art of Graphic Design.

    Karen old is relative and depends on who you're standing next to.

    So at 39 i must be ancient!

    39 Thirty-nine, hang your knickers on the line

    One more year til forty then i can be very naughty! (with impunity and blame it on dementia!)

    Why thank you Kenny

    I'll ask my teacher if she can put me up a grade

    P.s I need to point out that i don't know as much as i'd like to know, and age is immaterial really. Oldies can often think they know everything just as youngsters can but that is always a mistake.

    I bet there's many things you know that i don't and things i know you don't

    And as for philosophy. I also think it's a good idea to keep philosophies as flexible as possible and be ready to discard the old to make way for the new.

    Beliefs and ideas should only be a means to understanding and traversing the current terrain, for who knows what's next over the horizon, there could be a mountain range or rapids to deal with, where my current philosophy might just not be enough to get me through!

    I am 17. Now you all may ask why I have a picture of a middle-aged, fat man as my avatar...

    Wasn't it Socrates that said the more knowledge you obtain the less knowledgeable you become. Because you realize, through your new knowledge, that there is even more unknown knowledge.

    The "youngsters" are smart because they've got it all figured out. The "oldies" are smart because they know that they'll never have it all figured out. Am I right?

    I'm 21.

    Why should I not have it? I simply find it pleasing to the eye... No, really, the character of this avatar is from a certain video game.

    I think it is a difficult question to answer 'how old are you' because there are many aspects of ourselves which could be classed as various ages.

    Not knowing what a palidromic number is, I'd say you're between 1 and 1000.

    But most probably 28ish.

    P=7
    7^3=S
    S=343
    Digit Sum of 343=10
    343 being a palindromic number.

    So K must equal either one of the following so as to make the digit sum of 7
    16, 25, 34, 43, 52, 61
    The only ones that can be written backwards are 16(91) or 61(19)

    I'm guessing 19 ? or have i got this completely wrong?
