Hi everyone we have to design and carry out an experiment on

do fish attack groups of daphnia or just individuals.

we are provided with 5 fish , 5 tanks, tank dividers, boiling tubes, a sieve, pipettes and stop watchers.

IF it was you how would you do this what would be the best way to carry this out , any ideas welcome .

    Thank you.

First study the daphnia and try to figure out what would constitute a group or an individual.

    Do they even make groups?

Define it. Otherwise you can't measure anything.

You also need to define what constitutes an attack. How do you distinguish an attack from an investigative probe; from a chance near miss or collision; from a 'warning shot'?
