Based on your considerable knowledge of religions, it seems possible you and others could get considerable entertainment out of this. You might even want to start some kind of social media web site and go viral with a "bash-the-religions" angle. Probably be a winner!

I learned that you can't argue with these people.
Like how can you possibly argue with people who believe all life was plonked down fully formed in a day and humans walked with dinosaurs.

Actually, there are things I do like about it. Old churches and cathedrals, sculptures of saints and buddhas. The peace that can be offered by these.
Have not be paying attention to the evolution of religious TV programming. Some years ago there were a number of TV shows where you could call in and discuss aspects of the bible and such. It was typically with evangelicals who had a wide audience. A quick search tells me they have largely evaporated for whatever reason. They appear mostly on radio these days, and not very many of these.
You have more knowledge about it than all others on this forum combined. That you were told not to come back suggests someone was being contentious. This would not surprise anyone who has read your posts about how all this religious stuff is in the mind and evolved from Hindu religions etc. You may not "gain any pleasure " from your commentary, but you certainly provide it.
No doubt religions have provided a great deal to admire in art and music. That it is based on fantasy takes nothing away from the appreciation of such works as long as one does not accept it as a reality to be observed and worshiped.

It would be difficult to reform cult members from their hard-core beliefs. The same is true of many entrenched religious people who have been believers for long periods. But an interest to decrease the influence of religions should be a driving force for all those who recognize their dangers in the world on many levels. From the violence in Iran to abortion bans where they might exist, it seems incumbent upon those of us who might be capable to bring some of these people into the mainstream of rational thought. Turning the tide of religious persecution is the primary theme of this endeavor.
Those of us who do not care for religious zealots controlling other's lives should offer a counter-balance. Not suggesting that you be weaponized against them, but only to offer reasonable alternatives to the false narratives of religions and their negative impact on so many people. We should make serious attempts to rescue these people from false saviors. The world has too many of these believers and their many dangers to the progress of human rights and dignity. They are often used by right-wing governments to achieve their goals. For some of us, this is an anti-holy war.
Problem is, atheists like Dawkins have failed.
How can we be so sure of this? It could be much worse without the opposing views. Success in this activity would have to measured in decades, if not more.Problem is, atheists like Dawkins have failed.
At least there has been a slow and steady decline in religions in some places, but perhaps not in others.

There may be decline in traditional Christianity, but all Dawkins has done is to challenge faith, and faith always has an answer.
Just when you thought they would have no answer to questions like:
Why are there marine fossils on mountain tops?
How did large dinosaurs fit on the ark?
How do souls survive a black hole?
Answers:
Fossils - God's test of faith.
Dino's - Only needed to carry their eggs.
Holes - God separates soul when a body falls below the event horizon.
Can we just get back to how to switch off the TV for a better life.
I listen to classical music and read a book.
Spending some time combating the excesses of religious fanatics can also lead to a better life, and you have certainly played some part in this regard.
Cannot debate the TV issue. Mine is off most of the time, has been for years.
Reading and music are some of life's great pleasures. Nice to hear from others who are so inclined.
